First Anniversary: Weekend Gateaway & Spa Retreat

Oh how fast time passes by. Now we're no longer called 'newly weds'  It's been an amazing year so far and we are very much looking forward to more anniversaries. We have decided to make a special celebration by spending the weekend off at Sheraton Subang. I managed to blog the details so ii guess i'm putting the elaborated pictures here.
Venue: Sheraton Subang Hotel & Towers
Period of stay: 2D 1N
The fun stuff: Candle light dinner @ Terazza Brasserie, DVDs in the room, big big breakfast and SPA RETREAT @ Sheraton Tanjung Wellness Spa the following morning!!

Honeymoon, Langkawi
|
|
|
We headed to Langkawi right after our wedding reception at Eastin. Stayed at the Sheraton Perdana for 5 nights..nice hotel and good service. We were overjoyed when we entered our sea-view facing room as we saw a big flat screen TV with a DVD player!! teehee..we brought 5 DVDs and a computer along..cos we didnt expect to get a DVD player in our room. We ended up going to the Kuah town to buy more DVDs..heheh.. We didnt do much at Langkawi...the highlight of the honeymoon would be the romantic dinner by the beach at The Andaman hotel. Sheraton is undergoing a renovation (theyre changing to Westin), so we've asked the hotel reception where else can we get a nice romantic dinner. The Andaman is one hour away from Sheraton Perdana..but we enjoyed the journey listening to the music CD Fizah made for us for the wedding. The Andaman is a really nice and posh hotel that we can only afford to dine there!! haha..but the dinner was really nice, we got one butler assigned for us, the table setting was really beautiful with candles and campfire! Though it was a really expensive dinner for us but its all worth it! We dined and dance..hearing the sounds of wave..fine sands..all in all, it was a wonderful night for us. A night we will cherish forever

Groom's Reception...Danny's friends came from as far as Paris to celebrate our joy If you guys noticed, in the entry 'Paris Trip' there was this French couple who showed us around Paris...they came to our wedding! Danny's Japanese friends also flew to KL for the wedding, his colleagues and few Korean guests..

The most anticipated day of our lives.. I remember I was being so calm until when they all announced the arrival of Danny's family. Felt nervous but at the same time excited Alhamdulillah, the night went well with the presence of all our relatives, friends and neighbours. Danny managed to recite the lafaz nikah once...err...after more than 5 times practice with the Kadi..haha..
